We are looking for a highly motivated strategic professional to lead the planning, organization, and oversight of the operations of Vendor Support Operations for the EU region. This role will be located in our Vendor Support site in Bratislava, Slovakia Today, teams across the EU handle email and phone contacts, primarily from Vendors across the EU5 countries (UK,DE,FR,IT,ES). They are responsible for delivering a superior Vendor experience by seeking out process improvements while driving operational excellence.

Serving as a single point of contact for the EU region, the Site Leader will work with key stakeholders such as Vendor Experience, Retail Account Management, Vendor Systems and Vendor Support Program teams driving strategic initiatives to improve outcomes for vendors as well as the Vendor Support business. This position will be accountable for all operational performance metrics, facilitate deep research and analysis to support programmatic initiatives and ensure delivery of strategic and tactical inputs for the EU region.

Primary Responsibilities:

    Develop and lead the strategic direction, coordination, and evaluation of Vendor Support Operations for the EU region partnering with the Global Vendor Leadership team.
    Determine and drive EU vendor experience improvement strategies; work to reduce vendor contacts and cost per contact
    Ensure site strategy alignment and consequential operations execution with 3 year plan (flexibility, cost, quality).
    Collaborate with internal partners to build input-focused operating plans for achievement of key measures and goals
    Build a working culture where accountability, transparency, and collaboration are the norm and where rapid deep dives into root causes of defects causing Vendor pain is standard operating practice
    Tirelessly advocate for improvements to systems and processes that will benefit Associates & Vendors
    Implement bar-raising programs aimed at hiring and developing top talent and build career development roadmap for site leadership and critical roles on site
    Inspire front line teams to go beyond the standard “call of duty” to find creative solutions for our Vendor issues; encourage risk-taking and advocacy on behalf of Vendors
    Create closed-loop feedback processes where Associates are encouraged to be active participants in identifying opportunities for improvements to Associate & Vendor Experience, workplace conditions, and internal tools
    Work with the finance team to develop and manage to the annual expense budget
    Build collaborative relationships with leaders in other teams and departments
    Foster a work environment that respects and is responsive to the needs of a diverse staff group


Focus and deliverables in first 12 months:

    Consistently achieve goals by delivering regional improvements to operational inputs such as Resolve Rate, Re-Open rate, Total Time to Resolution, and vendor satisfaction
    Develop initiatives to improve the efficiency of the EU operations to enable achievement of our cost objectives
    Implement development programs for the EU leadership team and improve the rate of internal advancement within the centre
    Build partnerships with internal and external teams to collaborate and drive measurable improvements in areas that cause Vendor pain and Associate frustration
    Continually innovate and learn from other stakeholders to improve the experience of all Associates as measured by improvements in attrition and Associate engagement surveys
