Tatry Mountain Resorts, Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia, is looking for an Executive Chef. Place of work is Hotel Tri Studnicky, Demänovská Dolina (GPS:49.029638,19.572367). Starting date is June 2014. Job description: - Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities - Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards - Estimate food requirements and food/laborcosts - Supervise kitchen staff’s activities - Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs - Recruit and manage kitchen staff - Rectify arising problems or complaints - Give prepared plates the “final touch” - Perform administrative duties - Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards - Keep time and payroll records - Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Qualifications required: - Secondary with school-leaving examination - Follow-up/Higher Professional Education - University education (Bachelor'sdegree) - University education (Master'sdegree) Skills required: - Excellent record of kitchen management - Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently - Capable of delegating multiple tasks - Communication and leadership skills - Keep up with cooking trends and best practices - Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurantmanagement software, POS) - BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate Experience required: 5 years and more Accomodation: provided and paid by employer Reimbursement of travel expenses: no Types of social security contributions from employment: sickness, health, pension, injury, unemployment, invalidity Fulltime job.
